How it works

A predictable QA engagement,
from intake to sign-off.

Most QA work happens under tight launch windows. The steps below are the ones we follow on every engagement so nothing surprises you mid-week.

  1. 01

    Intake

You send the build URL, the copy deck, the launch date, and any access notes. The intake form on the contact page covers the basics; replies usually go out within one business day.

  2. 02

    Discovery call & scope

30-minute call to walk the build, agree what's in scope, and surface any blockers (lower-environment access, VPN/proxy needs, third-party tracking specs). You get a written scope and a flat quote out of this. Discovery is paid — applied to the engagement if you proceed.

  3. 03

    QA pass

We run the agreed checks: copy-deck diff, link health, accessibility, cross-browser/device, analytics verification, and any custom items from scope. Findings are logged with severity, screen, and reproducer notes as we go — no waiting until the end.

  4. 04

    Report

You get a report you can hand to a client without redacting: dashboard view, side-by-side copy diff, screenshots for each finding, and a CSV of issues for ticketing. PDF export included.

  5. 05

    Re-test & sign-off

Once your team has fixed the issues, we run a focused re-test on the affected screens and update the report. Sign-off lands in your inbox before launch.
